Congratulations: Alisha Hudson gave birth to her son, and she and Joe Reeder are the parents of Maxwell Joseph, who weighed 1 lb., 13 oz. at birth but is very active and strong. Uless and Rita Reeder are the grandparents.

Congratulations to Jerry Bryant, who has retired from the City of Columbia Water and Light Department after 26 1/2 years. He worked a total of 44 years in construction of public utility.

Congratulations to Paul Vaughn. On March 1, 2008, Paul R. Vaughn, currently the Associate Dean for the Mizzou College of Foods and Natural Resources was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award for The Ohio State University, College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. This award give public recognition to alumni of the College who have brought distinction to themselves, their college, school, department, institute, or The Ohio State University through their participation, commitment, and their leadership in their profession and community.
