

The Children's
Music rehearses on
Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. through the school year except during the Christmas season because of
Christmas program practice. They sing in the Sunday morning
worship services several times during the year. This is for those in
K-8th grade.
The Music
Team rehearses Sunday mornings
before the 8:30 a.m. Early Worship Service. This is for those in 5th
grade and up.
The
Handchime Choir practices on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.
The Adult
Choir
practices on Wednesday evening at 7:15 p.m. in the sanctuary. They
sing at the 11 o'clock service each Sunday, September through June.
The Summer Choir
practices around 10:30 a.m. before the 11:00 Sunday
worship service. All are welcome to participate.
Out and
About
meets on the fourth Monday
each month at 11:30 a.m. unless otherwise notified. The meal is a
carry-in meal or sometimes they go Dutch-treat to a restaurant for lunch.
Their programs vary from entertainment to information with various speakers.
All are welcome.
The LYHF
Youth Group (9-12th grade)
of Olivet gather in
addition to their Sunday School class. Their programs include recreation,
fellowship, Bible study, and food. Several fundraisers are held during the
year to finance their annual work camp experience.
Meeting times are on Sundays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. There is a LYHF Bible
study on Wednesdays starting at 7:30 p.m.
The Chi Rho
Youth Group (6-8th grade)
has lots of opportunities for young people to experience. There will be
worship (through music, devotional time, journaling and prayer), service
(helping where needed in the church as well as the community), and fellowship
(time to hang out together, playing games, getting to know each other.)
These are relationship building times. Meetings will be held on
Sundays from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
The YOYO's (Young
Olivet Youth Organization)
meet once a month for service
projects, fellowship, and recreation. Olivet children from 2nd
through 5th grade are welcome at YOYO gatherings. Their meeting dates are
announced in the Sunday bulletins and the Olivet Church News (OCN).
